Head of Operations
I have been with Direct Connections as Head of Operations since the company was just an idea. Having been involved with the Directors in the company’s creation, I am very passionate about what we do and what we stand for. We employ great staff who are loyal and dedicated to us, and I am very proud of the services that we supply to our clients and know that we give 100% each and every day. We are always looking to the next idea and project to ensure that the company continues to grow as we have done over the last few years. We work very closely with our clients and because of the great relationships that we build, we are able to produce a service that is tailor made to the client's wants and needs. I thoroughly enjoy working for Direct Connections and I genuinely look forward to coming to work every day; I don’t think many people can say that about their job.
I have worked for the company for three and a half years and have thoroughly enjoyed every day. I have progressed through three different roles starting off as an agent and now working as Operations Manager, and this progression has allowed me to learn all aspects of the business. Our office is a busy environment with a great atmosphere day in day out, and we have a good core group of people who have great relationships and work really well together.

With twenty years Call Centre experience, of which eighteen years has been in Team Leader and Operations Manager positions for various companies, joining Direct Connections was an ideal opportunity for me to be part of a growing business that is passionate about investing in its employees to support them in a successful career.
I have worked for Direct Connections for almost three years now, joining as a Team Leader and progressing to Operations Manager. Support and progression is a big part of what we do for our staff; if you are willing to put in the work then we will support you and provide you with the tools you need to get where you want to be.
Soon after I joined the business, I recognised that there were opportunities for me to progress, so I expressed my interest to my Head of Operations. I was then given numerous opportunities to develop and progress within my department and a year later was given the chance to apply for the Operations Manager position. I was successful in this application and now, two years later, I am in a great position to be able to give back to the business by supporting others with their own development as well as continuing my own.
